Daniel Clark
Writer + Translator
I am a writer and translator (French to English and Spanish to English) with a Master’s degree in European Cultures from the University of Cambridge and hundreds of articles published in places like Plant Based News and the UK Centre for Animal Law.
My poetry and short stories feature in journals and magazines around the world. I founded and co-edit Briefly Write, a little literary space for micro poetry and prose. I also performed eco-poetry at COP26 and was a Poetry Society Young Critic 2023.

Translation and transcreation
With two degrees from the University of Cambridge and hundreds of thousands of words translated, I can find creative and accurate solutions to turn French and Spanish texts into engaging English. Whether technical or poetic, I work across styles, forms and media to achieve impactful outcomes. Let’s work together!

Creative writing and editing
As a published poet, journalist, author, editor and reviewer, I can write, edit, proofread, ideate, review or prompt creative content. From digital marketing and social media to creative non-fiction and short stories, I will help add colour to your communications.

SEO-optimised blogs
I write SEO-optimised blogs and articles to get your message heard. I have extensive experience writing newsletters, articles and press releases (including both B2B and B2C) for an array of audiences, always to an exceptional standard. Need a writer who understands your goals and will work tirelessly to achieve them? Then look no further.
